travel north america united states california brand park
Brand Park is a beautiful 31 acre park in the foothills of the Verdugo Mountains.
Besides hiking and softball and basketball facilities, it also is home to Brand Library, Brand Studios, the Whispering Pine Tea House & Friendship Garden,
and the Doctor's House Museum & Gazebo.
Brand Library, built in 1904, was the home of Leslie C. Brand and called "Miradero."
It was only a few blocks from the home I bought in 1971 and the home I built in the Burbank hills in 1976.
